Elizabeth Cinq-Mars

Elizabeth (McGarry) Cinq-Mars, 53, of Danbury, wife of Mark R. Cinq-Mars, died June 6 at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Danbury, April 10, 1963, and was the daughter of Polly (Kakadelis) McGarry and John McGarry.

In addition to her parents and husband of 22 years, her son, Jarett M. Cinq-Mars of Danbury; daughter, Sarah E. Cinq-Mars of Danbury; four brothers: Peter McGarry of Newtown, Kevin McGarry of Danbury, Michael McGarry of New York and John McGarry of Danbury; as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins and friends, survive her.

A lifelong Danbury resident, she attended local schools, graduating from Danbury High School with the Class of 1981 and Katharine Gibbs School.

Ms Cinq-Mars was first employed as an administrative assistant at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc of Ridgefield and later a secretary at St Gregory the Great Church of Danbury.

Ms Cinq-Mars was an Elvis fan and had a great love for pets, especially her dogs. She was a member of St Gregory the Great Church of Danbury. Most especially, she cherished the time she devoted being a wife and mom and the time spent with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11, at 11 am, in St Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury.

Interment will be private and at the direction of the family.

The family will receive friends at St Gregory the Great Church following the mass.
