Discussions And Book Signings With Two Authors
SOUTHBURY â Pomperaug Woods will host an author lecture and book signing program on Sunday, June 22, beginning at 2 pm. Complimentary dessert and coffee will be served.
Well-known author Kathy Fischer-Brown, a resident of Meriden, will discuss her romantic and compelling novel, Winter Fire. The story is about a young girlâs abduction from her home by a tribe of Iroquois Indians. Readers experience her re-entry into her original world as an adult after being raised by the Iroquois and finding she doesnât belong in either world.
Dr Vincent Perri, a Woodbury resident, will then discuss his exciting page-turner psychological thriller, Torment. A member of the C.J. Jung Institute of New York and a clinical psychotherapist, Dr Perri is also scheduled to appear this month on a panel with other prestigious mystery writers at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
