Gathering under clear skies on the balmy evening of June 15, Newtown High School’s Class of 2022 graduated “at beautiful Blue & Gold Stadium,” NHS Principal Dr Kimberly Longobucco said as she welcomed students, families, and community members to the celebratory event.

There were 358 members of this year’s graduating class, representing a 100% graduation rate, according to Superintendent of Schools Dr Lorrie Rodrigue.

Promising the graduates that there are many positive experiences ahead for them, Rodrigue said their determination and grit will help them tackle anything else.

"We are so incredibly proud of you," Rodrigue said to all the graduates.
