Newtown Scholarship Association (NSA) celebrated 82 graduating seniors of the Class of 2025 who received scholarships toward their college education at an awards reception on Monday, June 2.

The gathering was celebrated at Newtown Community Center, where donors of many awards given and recipients were recognized by NSA President Cindy Carlson.

Recipients were announced with their award received and acknowledged on their remarkable achievements.

Newtown Savings Bank President and scholarship sponsor Ken Weinstein spoke positively about the event, observing "There aren't many towns with an organization like the Newtown Scholarship Association."
