Elementary Schools Honor Students

With Perfect Attendance

Scores of Newtown elementary school students were honored last week for consistently performing one of the most fundamental duties for any student – showing up to school.

These students turned up at the front doors of Hawley, Head O’ Meadow, Middle Gate, and Sandy Hook 183 times since the first day of school.

Last week, touting glossy certificates of their commitment and dedication, they were recognized for having perfect attendance records.

The following students all had perfect attendance for the 1999-2000 school year:
