On June 21, Ethel Kennedy Albert of Sandy Hook passed away peacefully. She was 92 years old. Ethel was born in Freeport, N.Y., on May 14, 1928.

She married George F. Albert on September 18, 1948. They moved from New York to Ridgefield, where they lived for nearly 20 years. Ethel later moved to Brookfield and then Newtown.

She retired from a career as a Benefits Supervisor and was active in the Senior Center. Her love of dogs was surpassed only by her love of her family.

Ethel was predeceased by her husband of 36 years. She is survived by her seven children, Deborah, George, Cynthia, Kevin, Tara, Colin, and Kerriann; her 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

A small service will scheduled for family at St Mary’s Cemetery in Ridgefield on Thursday, June 25, at 2 pm.
