Flying The Flag

To the Editor:

I would like to thank Mike Burton, president of SHOP [Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity], and all the business owners in Sandy Hook who supported my idea to have the American flag displayed on the utility poles coming down Church Hill Road into Sandy Hook Center.

I would also like to thank Bill Halstead and his firefighters from Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, who helped with putting up the flags this week.
