Loving Life Partner Richard A. Natoli passed on peacefully in Martha's arms at Danbury Hospital on Saturday June 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Flights of angels sang him home where Christ's arms were open wide to greet him healed and blessed.

Rick was born on April 10, 1954, to the late Richard Natoli and Louise (Frasca) Natoli. Rick grew up in the Bronx, NY and attended their local schools; at the age of fifteen he moved to New Fairfield, CT. Rick graduated from Danbury High School and received his Chemistry degree at Waterbury State Technical College where he received many awards. He was featured and starred in many Little Theatre Productions in the area. He was world’s best pizza maker at My Place Restaurant in Newtown in years past. An avid reader, loved fishing, both salt and fresh water, loved music, and had a large collection of favorites, and was often found tending his gardens in summer months. Worked at several labs as an Analytical Chemist in Connecticut.

Traveled with mobile lab to Maine and many southern states, Martha regarded Rick as St. Francis of Assisi and the Good Samaritan with his love and feeding of God’s little creatures, and always willing to part with his last dollar if someone was in need. He was a Parishioner and served in many ministries at Trinity Episcopal Church Newtown CT. Ricks testament was to put others before self.

Predeceased by his parents, Richard A. and Louise Natoli, and younger Brother Daniel. Survived by his Loving Partner Martha Dayton of Southbury, brother Cliff Natoli, and partner Helen Stambone of Bethel Ct. and Aunt Pamela Frasca, of Manhattan, Sister in Law Jane Natoli, of Rocky Hill, Niece Jane Louise Natoli, of Guilford and Nephew Daniel Natoli, of Vermont and Loving extended family John and Lucretia Rohleder and family, and Susan Dayton, and many cousins.

His Partner, Martha, extends her heartfelt gratitude to the passionate Dr's, Nurses, Aides, Housekeeping and Food servers at Danbury Hospital, of floors eight, ten, and eleven tower east and west Praxair Cancer floor. A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, Newtown, at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice. Carpino Funeral Home of Southbury has the honor of assisting with Rick’s arrangements.
