Photo Tour Of Farmhouse Design

WILTON — The public is invited to learn how architecture in Fairfield County evolved between 1740 and 1920.

Local author Keith Marshall Jones (The Farms of Farmingville) will lead a photo tour of farmhouse design at Wilton Open Book Shop, 5 River Road in Wilton, on Saturday, July 14, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Using a single Ridgefield school district, Mr Jones will illustrate how Federal, Classical Revival, Gothic, Victorian and Queen Anne styles all found their way into the local countryside.
