Howie Zipperstein and Carl Abrahamson banged out four hits apiece and Brian Aumueller clubbed his sixth home run of the season, driving in four runs, to lead Southbury Printing to an 18-12 win over Charter Communications in Sunday Slo-Pitch Softball League action.

Scott Davidow added three hits while Pat Smith and Greg Giroux had three RBI apiece to help Southbury Printing boost its seasonal record to 7-2.

In other action, Creative Mailing Services pounded Botsford Drive In, 21-10, as Mark and Kevin Kuligowski both homered. Dave Clark collected five hits while John Kortze, Ken Pliszka and Tim Carfi banged out four hits apiece for 5-2 CMS.

Women’s Slo-Pitch

Carolyn Signorelli singled twice, tripled and homered to lead Amoco to a 15-3 win over Chartwell’s in Newtown Women’s Slo-Pitch Softball League action. Karen Katrinak and Jeanne Carney added three hits apiece to pace Amoco while Amanda Morici sparked Chartwells with a home run in the last inning.
