Orchestra Seeks Music Director

DANBURY — Danbury Music Centre announces a vacancy for the salaried position of music director/conductor of Danbury Symphony Orchestra.

Interested persons should contact the music center for information about applying. Applications are due by September 15.

Danbury Symphony Orchestra is a volunteer group of 60 musicians performing standard symphonic repertoire. The orchestra rehearses weekly and gives eight performances each year, including three performances of the complete Nutcracker Ballet.

The music center is seeking to hire an experienced conductor for this position.
