Clara M. Rippstein, 85, of Whiting, N.J., died July 1 at Logan Manor in Whiting, N.J.
She was the mother of Paulette Jurewicz of Newtown.
Born on Hoboken, N.J., she lived in Secaucus and Harrington Park before moving to Whiting in 1991.
She was employed as a secretary at AT&T in New York City for ten years until 1943.
She was communicant of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Whiting and a former member of the Catholic Daughters.
Her husband, John, died in 1981.
Also surviving are one brother, Francis Bruckner of Whiting, N.J., and two grandsons, Adam John and Joseph Peter.
The funeral services were held from the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 66 Lacey Road, Whiting, N.J., on July 6, followed by a Mass at St Elizabeth Ann Seton, Roman Catholic Church. Burial followed at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, N.J.
