Artist To Speak

At Beardsley Zoo

BRIDGEPORT — Renowned wildlife artist Simon Combes will present a one-hour slide show about his “Painting Safari, USA” tour at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, July 17, at Beardsley Zoo’s Carousel Museum building, 1875 Noble Avenue.

Admission is $6 per person. Mr Combes will sign autographs and sell his books after the presentation.

Please note, the zoo and its related exhibits will not be open for viewing.

Mr Combes is the author of An African Experience: Wildlife Art and Adventure in Kenya. He was named Artist of the Year for the 1994 Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show, and he won the Award of Excellence from the Society of Animal Artists in 1990.
