Kart Wheels 2000

 At Glenholme School

WASHINGTON — Kart Wheels 2000, “A Race for the Children,” will take place on the campus of Devereux Glenholme, 81 Sabbaday Lane, Washington, Conn., on Saturday, July 15, from 10 am to 4 pm.

This free event will feature “Grand Prix” and “Challenge” team kart races on a road course, a “Concours d’Elegance” car show sponsored by Alfa Romeo Owners Club, kart rides for non-racers on the Glenholme track, plus a barbecue, ice cream, a pie bake-off, and many more activities.

All proceeds from team challenge races, contest fees, and lunches will help to support special programs for the children of The Glenholme School.

Kart Wheels 2000 is an opportunity for a fun, free family day with something for everyone. Devereux Glenholme invites the public to join the festivities on that day.
