Master Gardener’s Summer Hours

BETHEL — The University of Connecticut Mastery Gardener program in Bethel has new summer hours. Master Gardeners are available to answer calls and walk-ins from 9:30 am until noon, Monday through Friday, and 1:45 to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday. There will be no Master Gardener hours on Friday afternoons.

It is always recommended that clients who are planning to bring specimens into the Master Gardener office first call, 203/207-3262, to make sure there will be someone available to talk to them.

Master Gardeners cannot identify spiders and ticks. For spider information contact Ken Welch at the Agricultural Extension Station in  New Haven at 877/855-2237 toll free. For tick identification or testing procedures contact a local health department.
