Luncheon Hikes At Southford Falls

SOUTHBURY — The public is invited to spend their lunch hour on Fridays, July 6 and 27, at Southford Falls State Park. Bring walking shoes and enjoy a guided hike around the historic ruins of the former paper mill.

The hikes are scheduled to start at 12:30 pm and will last approximately 45 minutes.

Local businesses are also invited to conduct a business meeting, work group, or simply have lunch at the park prior to the scheduled activities.

To ensure adequate space is provided, please call ahead. To make a reservation or for more information, call Zack Brym at Kellogg Environmental Center, 734-2513.

Southford Falls State Park, on Route 188 in Southbury, is operated by the Department of Environmental Protection. For directions to the park go to www.dep.state.ct.us.
