Jaclyn Foran Woitkowski

and Michael F. Porco, Jr

Nancy and Raymond Woitkowski of Dalton, Mass., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn Foran Woitkowski of Southbury, to Michael F. Porco, Jr, of Newtown. He is the son of Silvana and Mercurio “Michael” Porco of Newtown.

The wedding is being planned for this summer, to take place in Pittsfield, Mass.

Ms Woitkowski is a school counselor at Wilton High School, where she is also the head coach of the Wilton High girls’ varsity basketball program. Ms Woitkowski also has a college consulting business.

She earned her master’s degree in education and counseling from The College of St Rose, Albany, N.Y., in 2004. In 2002 she received her bachelor of arts degree from Boston College Lynch School of Education. She is a 1998 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Mr Porco is a contractor in Newtown. He holds the rank of fourth degree black belt in Tung Soo Do and is an instructor at Porco’s Karate Academy in Sandy Hook.

He graduated in 1998 with a bachelor of business administration from Western Connecticut State University, and is a 1994 graduate of Newtown High School.
