Job Well Done

To the Editor:

We would like to say “a job well done” to the members of the Newtown Historical Society and its members for its House and Garden Tour. This is a time- and energy-intensive function, which takes a great deal of planning and organization.

As one of the houses on the tour, everything went very smoothly. From the beautiful flower arrangements to the write-up on our house to the helpful docents and parking directions, it was flawless.

We truly enjoyed touring the numerous people who visited — of all ages and backgrounds — and showing them part of Newtown’s history.

Thanks again, everyone involved.
