Porco’s Donut Dash Benefits Youth Family & Services

Porco’s Karate Academy recently hosted the fifth Annual Donut Dash and raised $530 to benefit Newtown Youth & Family Services. There were 21 runners on hand for the 3.1-mile fun run/walk.

At the halfway point each runner consumed one donut from Andrea’s Pastry Shop. Following the 5K was a Kids 1-mile fun run that circled the Pootatuck River. The Donut Dash

Rogelio Frutos came in first with a time of 19:17, followed by Luice Aldrecht (19:46) and Justin Barrett (20:31). The rest of the finishers are as follows: 4. RJ Bogardus 23:41; 5.
