Chamber Event On Lake Zoar

The Newtown Chamber of Commerce will host a welcome celebration honoring new members on Thursday, July 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, at the lakeside log home of Jane and Don Sharpe at 62 Underhill Road in Sandy Hook.

Traditionally, this event is combined with the annual holiday party in December. This year, Chamber President Pat Linnell wanted to celebrate the growth and support of the chamber in a unique way.

Jane Sharpe of Ward Cedar Log Homes offered to host the event at her home, overlooking Lake Zoar. This Lakeside cocktail party is open to all chamber members and those looking to join the chamber. For more information or to RSVP, contact Jane Sharpe at 426-5539.
