Her Turn To Win

To the Editor:

It is certainly a cliché to say, “I never win anything” upon winning a raffle. Instead I will say I am glad for all the times I haven’t won so that it was my turn at the Friends of the Library Book Sale Lighthouse Quilt Raffle.

The quilt is beautifully wrought and all the more special because it was given to benefit our library, which serves us all. I would also like the Sew Together Gals to know that our family will treasure this quilt always and to thank them for their generosity of time and talent so freely given.
