Auditions At Theater Barn

RIDGEFIELD â Ridgefield Theater Barn will hold auditions for Michael Cristoferâs Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama The Shadow Box written by Michael Cristofer. The drama interweaves comedy and tragedy as it explores the lives of three families as they deal with the terminal illness of a loved one.

Directed by Marc Cameron, the auditions will run on Monday and Tuesday, July 11-12, 7:30 to 9 pm each night.

The director is seeking five men (ages 14-50) and four women (ages 30-70).

Rehearsals will begin the last week in July and performances will be weekends, September 9 to October 8.

The auditions will be held at Ridgefield Theater Barn, 37 Halpin Lane in Ridgefield.

Lamont also elected to shutter the trash-to-energy plant in Hartford creating a twofer: trash crisis and energy crisis.
