Promoter Hayden Bates has announced the next show in the Live at the Edmond Town Hall series will be Family Spirit Reunion. The band will perform at 45 Main Street on Saturday, September 5.

Tickets for the 7 pm show are $25 each. A $9.99 base fee covers the costs of presenting the show, and remaining proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit the theater.

The five-member touring band based out of New York is celebrating release of its second album, hands together. Members “aim to deliver raw, high-energy honest music,” according to the band’s website. Rolling Stone in January called the band “Newport Folk Festival show-stealers” who during the recording process mixed “string-band twang, gospel harmonies and the countrified, half-crazed sweep of an old-school tent revival” in a preview of the album.

The band has additionally released several songbooks and other collections of recordings.
