C.H. Booth Library will host “Ageless Grace Brain Health Fitness” on Wednesday, July 16, at 2 pm, in the meeting room of the library, 25 Main Street.

The program is the newest addition to the “Timeless Newtown: Embracing Every Generation” series being presented by the library, Commission on Aging, and Friends of Newtown Seniors.

Ageless Grace is a brain fitness program based on the science of neuroplasticity. The program is performed in a chair that keeps participants moving and thinking through the power of play, set to fun music addressing all 21 physical skills and five functions of the brain needed for lifelong optimal function.

Ageless Grace is intergenerational, for all ages and abilities. Participants will develop a healthy habit that can be practiced 10 minutes daily.

Registration is requested and available through the library’s website, chboothlibrary.org.

“Timeless Newtown: Embracing Every Generation” is a 2025 initiative of Friends of Newtown Seniors (FONS) where, in concert with community partners, it strives to counteract the negative attitudes and stereotypes associated with aging.

Built on the absolute understanding that everyone ages, “Timeless Newtown” hopes to be a model for other communities who desire to foster intergenerational activities and conversation about nutrition, exercise, creative expression, and the mind/body connection for life.
