DANBURY - The work of Newtown photographer Kateleen Foy is currently being featured in "The Australian Coast," a photographic exhibition at Danbury Library on view through September 5.

The collection presents photographs showing different areas of Australia's beautiful coastline, from the Tasman Sea coast and Phillip's Island to Sydney Harbor.

A Newtown resident, Kateleen Foy graduated from Newtown High School in 2010 and then earned degrees in photography and psychology from Hofstra University.

She has always enjoyed travel photography, and says "learning about new cultures is invigorating for me." Ms Foy is currently involved in the Master's Program for Creative Arts Therapy at Pratt Institute.

Danbury Library, at 170 Main Street, is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 am-7 pm; Wednesdays, 1-7 pm; Fridays, 10 am-5 pm; and Saturdays, 10 am-2 pm.

Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance organized the placement of the exhibition, which was also featured in Bethel earlier this year, also with help from HVCA.

For additional information contact Ms Foy at kateleenfoy@gmail.com.
