Richard Clark, who has spent recent years working professionally in New York theater and television, will offer a special performance of And now⦠Mark Twain! on Wednesday, July 18. The solo show will be at Nunnawauk Meadows, in the community building at 3 Nunnawauk Road, at 3 pm.

The performance is a look at the life and work of one of Americaâs foremost humorists. The one-person play is full of the wit and wisdom that made Twain (née Samuel Clemens) a legend in his own time. Mr Clark will host use professional talents to take on the famous character who lived for many years in Connecticut.
Mr Clark is a graduate of Clark University with a major in English and Theater. He also studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Art, The Actorâs Connection and The Actorâs Loft in New York City. He has been acting for more than 30 years and is a member of Professional Actorâs Equity Association.
While his work has ranged from The Kennedys of Massachusetts and Saturday Night Live to Guiding Light and As The World Turns, in recent years Mr Clark has focused on presenting a series of one-person shows for community audiences across New England. The theme tying together the performances has been âKeeping History Aliveâ and through his work Mr Clark has brought to life the lives and work of Clarence Darrow, John Barrymore, Andrew Carnegie, and William Shakespeare in addition to Mark Twain.
