Comedy Night Headliner Is Fresh From ‘Last Comic Standing’ Finals

DANBURY — Summer is the season for comedy and 2005 will be no exception for The Jewish Federation of Danbury, which is planning its third Comedy Night.

With positive reports from its first two Comedy Night programs, members of The Federation are pleased to announce they have confirmed Cory Kahaney as the headliner for Sunday, July 17.

The performance will begin at 7 pm and will be at WCSU’s  Student Center Auditorium, 181 White Street.

Ms Kahaney was one of the five finalists on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. She had her own special on Comedy Central Presents and is a regular on Comedy Centrals’ Tough Crowd.

 She has also appeared on ABC’s The View, NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, and she has performed at clubs in New York City.

A local trio will offer an opening musical set.

Tickets are $36 for preferred/reserved seating and $25 for general admission.
