Registration At NVCC
WATERBURY â Whether you have always wanted to go back and finish your associate degree or you just graduated from high school and have yet to decide how youâll be spending your time come September, now is the time to sign up for credit courses this fall at Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC).
Among the new offerings this fall are eight hybrid courses in marketing, algebra, chemistry, writing composition, and childrenâs literature.
Hybrids are designed for students who have busy schedules that require the flexibility that comes with online distance learning, but still want face to face interaction with instructors and classmates. Students in a hybrid course meet in a classroom for the first session. The next session is held online, and the sessions continue to alternate between the classroom and the Internet.
NVCCâs fall semester begins Thursday, August 25. Students can apply online at www.nvcc.comment.edu, where copies of the fall schedule are available. Applications and the fall schedule are also available by calling the Admissions Office at 203-575-8151.
Not sure if NVCC is right for you? The college is holding several free information sessions with campus tours in the coming weeks to help you decide: July 11 at 10:30 am and 5:30 pm; July 25 at 10:30 am and 3 pm; August 1 at 10:30 am and 5:30 pm.
The sessions begin on campus at Kinney Hall, room K505 and last about one hour.
NVCC offers more than 100 associate degree and credit certificate programs. The college serves 35 communities across Western Connecticut.
