âUnity In Diversityâ
Corpus Christi Faith Community will present Unity In Diversity on Charter Cable Television, Channel 21, on July 18 and 20 featuring the fifth and final segment of âKeeping the Faith: Changing the Church,â a Voice of the Faithful series of presentations by Roman Catholic Canon Lawyer, Father Thomas Doyle.
Voice of the Faithful is now establishing its newest community in the Greater Danbury area and all are welcome to participate. Unity in Diversity programs are hosted by the Rev Leo McIlrath, coordinator of the Corpus Christi community of faith.
On July 25 and 27, the program will present the Rev Preston Tallman, acting celebrant for Central Christian Church of Christâs Disciples, in Danbury. And on August 1 and 3, Kathlene Chesto, a lay presenter for workshops, retreats, and sacramental preparation throughout the country will be the guest.
Programs are aired at noon on Mondays and at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays throughout the 14 towns of the Charter viewing area. Programs will also be aired on Comcast Cable (Channel 23), on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 pm and 11 am, respectively.
Unity In Diversity encourages all people to take the opportunity to learn about their neighbors from other faith communities, as well as their own, in a nonthreatening way. âIf we really know one another, we have a better opportunity to work with one another,â Rev McIlrath said.
