Yale Rep Announces Arrival Of Open Captioning For All Productions
NEW HAVEN â Yale Repertory Theatre has announces Open Captioned performances for each of the theaterâs six productions for its 2005-06 season beginning in October.
c2Inc, based in New York, has been named the official Open Captioning provider for Yale Rep. c2Inc also provides Open Captioning at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey, and several theaters in and around the New York tri-state area.
The Open Captioned performances will be offered during Saturday matinee performances. The schedule has been set as follows: The Cherry Orchard on October 22 at University Theatre, 222 York Street; Safe in Hell on December 3 at Yale Repertory Theatre, 1120 Chapel Street; The People Next Door on January 28 at Yale Repertory Theatre; Allâs Well That Ends Well on March 4 at University Theatre; dance of the holy ghosts: a play on memory on April 1 at The New Theater, 1156 Chapel Street; and for the final production of the season (which has yet to be announced) on May 13 at Yale Repertory Theatre.
Subscription packages for Yale Repertory Theatreâs 2005-06 season are now available. Â Single tickets for the productions will go on sale in September. Â
