Internationally recognized musicians Scott Spray, aka Mr Bassman, and Bobby Torello, aka Bobby T, recently joined local musicians Jay and Todd Willie and Ken Hanna in a dynamic musical performance at NewSylum Brewing Company.

Torello and Spray have both been inducted in the New England Music Hall of Fame. Torello has performed with Johnny Winter, Thunderhead, Black Oak Arkansas, Jefferson Starship, and Michael Bolton while Spray recorded with Edgar Winter and toured the world with Johnny Winter as well as playing with The Rascals, Donna Summer, Dion, Slash from Guns N’ Roses, R&B legends: The Drifters, The Platters, and The Coasters, and many others.

Spray also wrote and recorded the theme song for “Sex and The City.”

Jay Willie, whose latest album is Still Raisin’ Cane, performed on lead and slide guitar and vocals with brother Todd on lead vocals for the June 29 gig. Ken Hanna, from One Track Mind, performed lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and vocals.

Filling the grassy area between the brewery and the building to the immediate southeast, the audience gave round after round of thunderous applause to the performers.
