Gallery Talk At Wadsworth

HARTFORD — Joanna Marsha, associate curator of contemporary art at Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, will offer a gallery talk on Thursday, August 3, at 6 pm, about the museum’s current exhibition. “Shifting Terrain” brings together the work 17 leading contemporary artists whose photographs recall the visual splendor of 19th Century landscape traditions, while simultaneously charting new thematic and geographic territory.

Part of the museum’s First Thursday series, admission for the gallery talk will be $5 and includes live music and refreshments in addition to the gallery talk. The museum, at 600 Main Street,  860-278-2670.
