Deborah L. Hall

Deborah L. Hall, 54, of Stratford, formerly of Bridgeport, died July 14 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, she lived in the city for 52 of her 54 years.

Survivors include two sisters, Juanita Hall of Newtown and Carolyn Phills of Bridgeport; her mother, Carrie Davis Hall of Bridgeport; a brother, Roscoe Hall, Jr, and his wife, Sandra, of New Haven; and several nephews and nieces.

She was a graduate of the Class of 1970 from Warren Harding High School, where she participated in the Madrigals. She was employed ten years with Steinbeck’s Department Store as a salesperson. Ms Hall also worked nine years as a security guard for the Bridgeport Board of Education and was placed at Bassick High School.

Her faith was nurtured at Rainbow Temple where she maintained her church membership.

A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced later.

Morton’s Mortuary, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements.
