Occupation: I’m the information technology manager for Partner Reinsurance in Greenwich. Sometimes my job takes me to Switzerland and France.

How Long In Newtown: I’ve lived in Newtown just over 24 years. I moved to Newtown in 1981 when I got married.

Biggest Change You Have Seen In Town: Definitely the population growth. The amount of big houses being built all over the place.

Family: My wife’s name is Maureen (Mo) and we have three sons and a daughter. Our children are Matt 22, Tim 20, Tucker 15, and Molly 7. We have lots of other family that live in and around the Newtown area.

Pets: Two golden retrievers, Oatis and Simon, and Rascal, our black cat. Of course my daughter has a couple of guinea pigs named Lily and Lilah and two rabbits.

Hobbies: I love music. I try to play the guitar, something I should spend more time on. I’m a Yankee’s fan. I love watching my kids do their sports — baseball, basketball, and more recently horse back riding with my daughter.

Favorite Music: I love music. Jimmy Buffett is definitely my favorite. I also like John Hiatt. I have a large CD collection and go to concerts with my wife’s good friend Joan.

Favorite Books: I love anything on World War II.

Favorite Vacation Spot: We love the whole Cape Cod area. We’ve been going there with family for at least ten years.

Favorite TV Show and Actor: Everybody Loves Raymond without a doubt is my favorite. I’m also a big Clint Eastwood fan.

Organizations: I’ve been closely involved in Babe Ruth Little League for years. I also have been active in a mentoring program, working with a boy from Danbury.

Most Vivid Memory About Newtown: That’s a hard one, but for me it was definitely all the support we felt from our friends in Newtown when our son Tim was hospitalized last summer.

Personal Philosophy: I always try to look at the bright side of things.
