Rocco F. Baldino, 78, of Monroe, a retired plumber for Local #777, died on July 18 in St Josephâs Manor.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marie DeSalle Baldino; two sons, Neil F. Baldino and his wife, Iris, of Newtown and Mark J. Baldino and his wife, Mary, of South Carolina; a sister Janet Soltis of Stratford; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and Patsy Pagliarulo of Trumbull; his three loving grandchildren, Cole, Tess, and Mark; as well as many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Born in Bridgeport on October 25, 1926, he was a US Navy veteran of World War II. Mr Baldino graduated from Harding High School and attended the Art Students League, New York. He was an avid beer can collector and also enjoyed golfing and gardening. He had been a resident of Trumbull for 45 years before recently moving to Monroe.
Funeral services took place on July 21 from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, and in St Stephen Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors followed in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton.
