Newtown Rotary Club is planning its first Cornhole Tournament, scheduled for Sunday, October 1, at Fairfield Hills, and registration is open for teams that want to compete.
Entry fee is $50 per two-person team, with prizes to be awarded to first, second and third place finishers. Competition will open at 1 pm that afternoon, with professional score keeping and event management by Wicked Cornhole.
The day will additionally include food, drink, and raffles for all, according to organizers.
