Anne Incerto

Devoted To Family

Anne “Alexis” Incerto, 57, of Black Rock, died at Connecticut Hospice in Branford July 23, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on August 23, 1949, to Harold and Mearlyn Finlayson, she was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Rebecca Lynn Incerto of Bridgeport; five sisters, Bette Sue George and her husband, Gerald, of Newtown, Jane Celon of Fairfield, Cheryl Johnson and her husband, David, of Stratford, Elaine Waterbury of Stratford, and Susan Finlayson of Bridgeport; two brothers, Richard Kistner of Bridgeport and Harold Finlayson and his wife, Ellen, of Fairfield; two nieces and seven nephews, Katie Kistner, Brett Kistner, Shannon Minardi, Richard Kistner, Kevin Kistner, Scott Kistner, David Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Andrew Waterbury; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, Carley, Derek, Daniel, Madison, Tucker, Kevin, Scott, and Kobe.

Ms Incerto was employed as a supervisor of collections by Bridgeport/Yale-New Haven Hospital for many years. She was a devoted mother, loving sister and aunt who touched many lives and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, July 26, at 7 pm at the Shaughnessey-Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield, with the Rev Peggy Schrader officiating. Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday from 4 pm until the time of the service. Interment is private.
