C.H. Booth Library To Host ‘Women And Money’ Roundtable Webinar Discussion

On Wednesday, August 13, the C.H. Booth Library will be hosting a webinar titled “Women and Money Roundtable: How to Make Sense of Today’s Financial Markets.” This webinar will be hosted by Julia Strayer and Liz Maccarone. The webinar will talk about today’s financial markets and how they might fit into a portfolio. Strayer and Maccarone will cover the latest market news and how that might affect financial decisions. The two will also provide background and context for understanding why market movement occurs, and strategies for keeping ahead of what might come.

Strayer is senior vice president and wealth management advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2000, Strayer was a vice president and private banker for BankBoston’s Private Bank for seven years, responsible for asset management and trust services. Previously, Strayer worked in marketing for nine years with Merrill. She has appeared on the CNBC show “Power Lunch,” CBS’s “This Morning,” and WGCH’s “Women in Business,” in addition to featured articles in USA Today.

Maccarone is a senior financial advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as well. Maccarone joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2012. She works closely with high-net-worth individuals and their families to create personalized and comprehensive strategies that support their goals, including investment management, retirement planning, liability management, and multigenerational planning. Maccarone understands the importance of establishing and cultivating relationships with families including the next generation.
