Scott Chimileski has enrolled in the graduate program at the University of Connecticut for the fall to study genetics, and was also accepted into the university’s Research Assistantship program. Scott is a 2008 University of Connecticut graduate, with a degree in biology.

Lindsay Chimileski graduated cum laude from the University of Connecticut in May, and made the Dean’s List for fall 2008 and spring 2009. Lindsay was also named a New England Scholar for 2008 and received the Excellence in Human Development in Family Studies Award in April. She has been accepted at the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport to study to become a naturopathic physician.

Amanda Sharpe was named to Fairfield University’s Dean’s List for the spring 2009 semester.

At Sacred Heart University graduates from this year included Gina Cappelli of Newtown and Amanda Buchholz; Dawn Escoda, Michael Jones, and Jennifer Rosenblatt of Sandy Hook, all of whom received a master of arts in teaching; James Viadero of Sandy Hook, who received a master of arts in criminal justice; Megan Regnery of Newtown, who received a bachelor of arts in business; and Mallory Berko of Sandy Hook, who received a bachelor of science degree in business.

Shannon Marie Bell of Sandy Hook graduated cum laude of the University of Miami with a bachelor of science degree.

Claire E. Decker and Charles S. Spath, both of Sandy Hook, have reserved places as freshman at SUNY Oswego, in Oswego, N.Y., for the fall semester, scheduled to begin on August 31.
