A Day At The Zoo For Breastfeeding Families
BRIDGEPORT ââ St Vincentâs Family Birthing Center invites 6mothers to join in a free event at the Beardsley Park Zoo on Sunday, August 3, at 11 am, to help celebrate World Breast Feeding Week.
Festivities include access to zoo exhibits and free musical entertainment, provided by Music Together of Fairfield County, for babies and children from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Music Together show provides upbeat, interactive, informal family music with dancing, singing, and instrument playing.
Those wishing to participate should meet under the trees near the stage at 11 am. Free park admission will be granted to those who wear a gold ribbon, which designates human milk as the gold standard in infant feeding.
