Kimberly Ann O’Brien Levy

World’s Best Mom

Kimberly Ann O’Brien Levy, 43, beloved wife of East Hartford Firefighter Thomas R. Levy of Bristol, died unexpectedly July 26 at her home. She was born in Milford on July 19, 1965, a daughter of Robert and Arlene (Coffin) O’Brien of Seymour and previously of Sandy Hook.

Ms Levy was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1983. She attended Curry College and Mattatuck Community College and was a graduate of Charter Oak College where she earned an associate’s degree. She was a licensed paramedic for Danbury Ambulance, Medstar, and Hunter’s Ambulance Service, and was paramedic instructor at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

Ms Levy was the owner of her own business, Candles 4 Angels. She enjoyed scrapbooking, drawing, and sketching. She will be remembered as the world’s best Mom to her three daughters.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three daughters, Kieren, Meghan, and Brianna Levy, all of Bristol; a sister, Jennifer Dion of Newtown; two nieces, Emily and Samantha Dion; and several cousins. Ms Levy was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harland Coffin, two weeks ago; and was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Helene M. (Leopold) Coffin; by her paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs James O’Brien; and by a cousin, Brian Kenny, of Hamden

Funeral services were held July 30 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Newtown. Interment will be private.
