Local Company Reaccredited

For Quality Management Systems

Newtown-headquartered TÜV Rheinland of North America has been reaccredited for AS 9100B quality management systems certification by the American National Accreditation Body (ANAB). As an independent certification and testing company, the re-accreditation is a requirement for many aerospace industries in North America, who are company clients, to do business.

As of July 1, TÜV Rheinland’s Quality Registration Services can perform audits of aerospace suppliers’ quality management systems and certify those that have fulfilled the requirements of the AS 9100B standard.

AS 9100B certification is internationally recognized within the aerospace sector as a required standard for quality management systems and is reserved only for companies committed to providing excellent customer service, continual improvement, and outstanding product quality. All suppliers to major aerospace equipment manufacturers such as Boeing, General Electric and Airbus seek this certification.

“TÜV Rheinland’s AS 9100B accreditation comes as a result of tremendous effort on the part of all employees and auditors who worked diligently to ensure corrective action and implementation to meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace industry’s most important standard,” said Richard Bernier, TÜV Rheinland’s Division Manager of Management Systems Certification.
