An Educational Trust

To the Editor:

On June 13, 2007, the Lord called Anthony Isabella home after a long and painful battle with cancer. Anthony was truly a man of faith, a devoted husband and father and skilled in his health profession. Many people in Newtown have benefited from knowing Anthony because of his involvement in the community.

Anthony left behind his wife, Debbie, and their four children: Lisa, Jacqueline, Michelle, and Anthony, Jr. The responsibility that Debbie faces in raising her children and allowing them the opportunity for a college education, which was their father’s wish for them, is an overwhelming one for her. Because Anthony was not able to work for prolonged periods and high medical expenses, there are not a lot of financial resources available.

Many have asked what they can do to help the family. An educational trust fund has been established, and it is my hope that many will help this family in their grief and loss. Donations, great and small, will be a blessing for this family.
