Garner Inmate Charged With Breach Of Peace
State police responded to Garner Correctional Institution on Nunnawauk Road on the night of July 23, following a complaint that an inmate had struck a correction officer there.
State police said their investigation showed that inmate Terrance Foster, 25, had punched a correction officer during the distribution of medication to inmates at the high-security prison. The correction officer was not injured.
State police charged Foster with second-degree breach of peace and with failure to submit to fingerprinting. Foster was scheduled to appear July 24 in Danbury Superior Court.
