Kyle Palo, son of Beverly and Richard Palo, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester. Kyle, NHS Class of 2006, is majoring in business.

Croy Carlin, son of Heidi and Mark Carlin, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at the University of Maine in Orono. Croy, a member of NHS Class of 2006, was a recipient of the Presidential Scholar Award this year. He recently returned from a two-week internship at sea for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which originated out of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution on Cape Cod, where he assisted with a scientific team scallop study. Croy is pursuing a major in marine biology.

Sarah Gutbrod, NHS Class of 2006, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2006 and spring 2007 semesters at Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering, Baltimore, Md.

Kristin Ryan, daughter of Patricia and Jack Ryan of Sandy Hook, graduated cum laude from Colgate University, Hamilton, N.Y. She also received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence during the spring semester. Kristin, NHS Class of 2003, majored in Russian and music. She holds a black belt in tae kwan do, and is spending the summer in China, studying kung fu and Chinese at a Shaolin monastery.

Dawnielle Conger, NHS Class of 2004, received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Johnson & Wales University, College of Business, Providence, R.I.

Allison Ragusa, NHS Class of 2004, received a bachelor of science degree in fashion merchandising from Johnson & Wales University, College of Business, Providence, R.I.

Jacqueline Gutbrod, NHS Class of 2005, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Boston University.

Timothy Patrick Malone, NHS Class of 2003, graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College, Hanover, N.H., with a bachelor of arts degree. Timothy, the son of Maureen Malone and Stephen Malone of Newtown, majored in psychology and minored in economics.

Rose Jackman, NHS Class of 2006, has been named to the National Dean’s List by the College of Architecture and Engineering Technology at the University of Hartford.

Kelly Elizabeth Collier, NHS Class of 2004, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at The University of Montana, Missoula.
