Additionally, Cole Terry won the gold in the high jump (5’ 6”) and javelin–turbo jav (85’ 6”). Bob Terry went on to win the gold in the high jump (5’ 2”) and in the pole vault (12’). He also took the silver medal in the javelin (134’ 3”). Tracy Terry added a gold medal in the javelin (55’ 11”) to the family’s total.

In 2010, Bob, Cole, and Kayla achieved the same “triple sweep” of the long jump competitions in the Nutmeg Games. This year Tracy joined her kids and husband, participating in her first track and field event, to make it “a full family sweep” of the long jump.

Noah Burhance came home with five Nutmeg Games medals in swimming. Noah took four gold medals in his class, swimming the 50 freestyle, 100, freestyle, 500 freestyle, and 100 breast stroke. He took the silver medal in the 100 back stroke.
