Bicycle Found

Police report that a women’s 21-speed bicycle was found near the intersection of Sugar Street (Route 302) and Boggs Hill Road. The Trek-brand bicycle is black and blue. Police are holding it at the police station at 3 Main Street for safekeeping. To claim the bicycle, the owner should contact Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at 426-5841.

Burglary

Police report that an unspecified motor vehicle was burglarized near 45-A Mt Pleasant Road sometime between 8:30 pm on July 28 and 7:45 am on July 31. Police ask anyone with information on the crime to contact Patrol Officer Matt Chesser at 426-5841, or to leave him an anonymous tip at 270-8888.

Queen Street Crash

About 4 pm July 31, motorist Charles Daroja, 56, of Masonville, N.Y., who was driving a 1985 Chevrolet sedan southward on Queen Street, slowed to make a right turn into a driveway at 62 Queen Street, police report.

Southbound motorist Alexa Feldman, 17, of Brandywine Lane, who was driving a 2000 Volvo sedan, then drove into the rear end of the Chevrolet, police said. There were no injuries. Police said they issued Feldman a written warning for following too closely.
