Raymond A. Perusse

Raymond A. Perusse, 75, of Bethel, died July 30 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Norma (Garron) Perusse.

In addition to his wife, Mr Perusse is survived by one daughter, Susan E. Perusse of Newtown; two sons, Joseph R. Perusse and his wife, Kelly, of Norwich, and Steven E. Perusse of Bethel; three brothers, Marc Andre Perusse, Jilles Peruse, and Jean Guy Perusse, all of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr Perusse was born August 31, 1929, in Quebec, Canada, the son of Joseph and Rose Ida Perusse. He came to the United States in 1960 and had been a resident of Bethel since 1964.

Mr Perusse was employed with the Gilbert and Bennett Mfg Co of Georgetown, from which he retired in 1989. He was an avid coin collector and also enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, and gardening.

The family was scheduled to receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home on Thursday, August 4, from 2 to 4 pm with a prayer service at 3:30.
