Topping the field this was Phil Cappelli with 6.5 points, followed by Vincent Palumbo in second with 5.5 points.

Ladies Member Guest

With the theme of this year’s Ladies Member Guest Margaritas and Mulligans, there was plenty of fun to go around. A field of eight teams enjoyed the beautiful weather, and put up some good scores as well. First-place gross honors went to Janet Duffy, Diane Busse, Christine Sullivan, and Joyce Curran, with a score of 160. Earning first with a net score of 137 were Debra Deroo, Lisa Castillo, Sarah Roman, and Paige Hammond.

Club Championship

With the Men’s Club Championship winding down, four men were left standing, including defending champion Chris Watson. Coming off a huge win last week, Steve Mais showed his confidence on the golf course, beating Watson to take out the defending champion. In the other match, Larry McCoy and David Cornett battled back and forth, each having a lead. In the end however, McCoy advanced to play Steve Mais in the 36-hole final which will be held on Saturday, August 6.

Net Club Championship

The Men also had a two-day Net Club Championship which featured some fierce competition. First day leader Dennis Brestovansky hoped to repeat his even par 70 and hold off the field for one more day, but the competition was not about to go down quietly. Shooting a 6 under 64 was Rick Eaton who earned the win and was followed in the standings by Ben Spragg and Dr Len Calbo.
