Peter Wilkes, 60, of Newtown, died on Monday, August 5, at New Milford Hospital.

He was the husband of Brenda (Rangoni) Wilkes and son of Sarane “Sally” (Ives) Wilkes and the late John Wilkes, Jr. His brothers Thomas, and his wife Christine, and Robert Wilkes, sister Sarane Rogers, a niece, and many friends survive Mr Wilkes. A brother, Richard Wilkes, predeceased him.

Funeral services will take place in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Avenue, Danbury, Saturday, August 10, at a time to be announced. The family will receive friends in the funeral home, Friday, August 9, from 5 to 8 pm.
